Evolving the preprint evaluation world with Sciety

Chrissie has moved on from Crossref. Based in Oxford, Chrissie was responsible for all Marketing and Communications activity at Crossref. Before joining Crossref, she had worked with a number of global multinational corporations, bringing business strategies to life through innovative and integrated omni-channel marketing. Having lived and worked across Asia and the Middle East for almost twenty years, she possessed extensive global experience and a truly international outlook. With a savvy approach to tactical planning, Chrissie happily brought her skills to support the Member and Community Outreach team in meeting Crossref’s educational and awareness objectives
Conflict, instability and economic conditions are just some of the factors driving new migration into Europe—and European policy makers are in dispute about how to manage and cope with the implications. Everyone agrees that in order to respond to the challenges and opportunities of migration, a better understanding is required of what drives migration towards Europe, what trajectories and infrastructures facilitate migration, and what the key characteristics of different migrant flows are, in order to inform and improve policy making.
